Here’s a curated array of produce, freshly-harvested and available on an individual basis. You can choose to pick up your box from The Crown Brasstown on Thursday or from the farm on Friday. The farm’s address will be sent to you with your order confirmation. For reference, we are located about 2 miles from Jack’s Creek Market & Deli on 325 in Blairsville.

This week’s Fresh Box will contain 6 of the following:

Levity Farms signature salad mix: A washed & dried blend of 3 baby lettuces — red butter, green butter, and green sweet crisp

Romaine lettuce: Rinsed heads of crisp Romaine

Hakurei turnips: Golf-ball size, sweet & juicy roots, delicious raw or roasted, greens attached

Bok choi: Great raw, stir-fried/sauteed, or in soups

Green “bunching” onions: Long, hardy onion greens, amazing stir fried or fresh as a garnish, a seasonal staple

“Ruby Streaks” mustard greens: Extremely flavorful, delicate greens, great for stir fry, raw in salads, on sandwiches, and folded into pasta or eggs

Kohlrabi: Juicy, crunchy, amazing raw or sauteed, with braising greens attached

Dill & cilantro: Freshly picked and ready to garnish your favorite dishes

If you choose Thursday pick-up: Please arrive at The Crown Brasstown between 3 and 5 PM. We will be set up under the carport of Kula Wellness, the blue house/community center next to the grassy field outside the restaurant. The Crown opens for dinner at 4:30, so feel free to stay and enjoy the fresh, high-quality cuisine they’ve got to offer! We will leave a cooler under the carport, so you can enjoy your meal and then pick up your order on your way out. Just be sure to check in with us before 5 PM.

If you choose Friday pick-up: Please arrive at the farm between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. We’ll have your Fresh Box ready at the cooler, so just park and walk on down! Be sure to wear shoes and pants that will protect your legs from potential hazards, such as ants and stinging nettle, and walk mindfully, as the ground may be uneven.
