CSA Membership Agreement

Welcome to Levity Farms!

We are a small-scale, first-generation family farm raising high-quality produce on responsibly cultivated pastures in beautiful Southern Appalachia. Our mission is to offer fresh, seasonal vegetables while nurturing healthy soil and building a resilient local food system. We utilize regenerative farming practices, drawing inspiration from Permaculture and informed by USDA Organic guidelines, though we are not Certified Organic.

By joining our 2026 Summer CSA, you are supporting the cultivation of nourishing produce for your community while sharing in the abundance of our farm.

 

Program Overview

  • Season Duration: 8 weeks

  • Start & End Dates: The first round of CSA pick ups will be Saturday, June 13th. The final pick up of season will be Saturday, August 8th.

    Union County Farmers Market
    290 Farmers Market Way
    Blairsville, GA 30512

If you are unable to make it in time to pick up your share, please reach out to us ASAP, so we can make other arrangements and know not to expect you.

 

Shared Risk, Shared Reward

As a member of the Levity Farms CSA, you’re sharing in both the risks and the rewards of small-scale farming. Farming is inherently unpredictable, and factors like weather, pest pressure, and natural occurrences may impact the weekly harvest. Some weeks may be lighter due to these challenges.

But along with this risk comes the reward—you’ll also experience the abundance of bountiful harvests throughout the season. When the fields are overflowing with produce, you’ll relish in the variety and generosity of what the farm provides. Your membership is an investment in the farm, and we’re committed to offering you the best of each week’s harvest.

 
 

Membership Cost and Payment

  • Cost: $300 for the full season

  • Payment Due: Payment must be made in full before the season begins via our website.

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds for missed pickups or once the season has begun, as your membership fee supports early-season expenses like seeds, compost, and supplies.

 
 

Communication and Updates

Members will receive a weekly CSA email the day before each pickup. This email will serve as a reminder and include farm updates, details on the week’s harvest, and any changes to the program.

By signing up for the Levity Farms CSA, you agree to the terms outlined in this membership agreement and understand that farming is subject to the unpredictable forces of nature. Your support helps us continue growing fresh, nutritious food for our community.
